Day Care is held at the Meningie Community Health Centre on
Tuesdays and Thursdays
from 11.30am to 3.30pm

During which time a hot 2 course meal is served for a small fee.

Following lunch a group programmed activity is held as well as giving individuals an opportunity to be involved in their own chosen activities.

eg: playing cards, woodworking, knitting etc.

Eligibility:
you need to be a HACC client (aged or those with a disability)
Referral can be either by health professionals or by self-referral.

Transport:
The Meningie Hospital bus does a trip around the town doing a pick-up prior to the start of Day Care and again at the compltetion of the day, for those who do not have their own transport.

Staff:
Activity Supervisor - Leanne Biddle
Activity Therapist - Carol Nankivell
And a band of faithful volunteers.

Easy Moves for Active Aging:
Exercise sessions are held Thursdays prior to Day Care
from 10.30am - 11.30am.
A qualified volunteer supervises this session.
