Meningie & Districts Memorial Hospital Inc was opened in 1975 and is now responsible for Coonalpyn Downs Community Health Service. In 1991 the Meningie Hospital & Coonalpyn Downs Community Health Service amalgamated to become known as Meningie & Districts Memorial Hospital & Health Services Inc.

A wide range of community health services are available to residents of Meningie and surrounding districts.
There are Medical Centres at Meningie, Coonalpyn, Tintinara and Raukkan. A number of doctors, specialists and allied health professional visit these clinics regularly to offier a wide range of services.
